According to the reports, the attacker passed away due to a tragic car accident while he was driving with his brother, Andre Silva, in Spain.

Moreover, in his personal life, the former Wolves striker has just tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, just 11 days before his passing. The couple already had three little kids together, which makes Jota’s passing even more gut-wrenching.

The number 20 is not only the number he has worn since joining the Reds, but it somehow has other interesting coincidental meanings as well. Jota joined Liverpool in 2020, and last season he helped them win their 20th league title.
