Above Bar Street in Southampton was closed earlier this morning while emergency services dealt with an incident.
The road was closed from around 4:45am and did not reopen until around 7am this morning.
Hampshire Constabulary has said confirmed that a woman in her 20s is receiving treatment in hospital after falling from an e-scooter.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “We were called to a report of a single vehicle collision in Above bar street around 4:45am today.
“A woman in her 20’s had fallen from an e-scooter and suffered a head injury, she has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed while officers attended, but has now been reopened.”
Above Bar Street is one of the busiest roads in the city but traffic was largely unaffected due to the incident taking place in the early hours.
