Cllr Achwal said: “I am most grateful for the care you took in looking after me and introducing me to both staff and residents.

“I was very impressed to learn that Flowerdown currently cares for 38 residents with the capacity to accommodate more.

“The home is bright, airy and beautifully laid out, with tastefully decorated lounges and peaceful spaces that clearly contribute to residents’ comfort and wellbeing.”

He also praised the home’s outdoor areas.

He said: “The gardens are particularly lovely and it was heart-warming to hear how actively residents participate in the gardening during summer months.”

The general manager at Flowerdown said: “It was lovely to have Cllr Sudhakar Achwal here for the day.

“The residents were delighted that he was able to visit us and join in on the day.

“We all had a wonderful day and we hope that he will come to see us again soon.”

Flowerdown Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes.
