West African confident of meeting guidance following first quarter production

Date:

Setting an annual production guidance of 190,000-210,000 ounces of gold for the 2025 calendar year, West African Resources has begun promisingly.

The Richard Hyde-led gold miner produced 50,033oz during the first quarter at its Sanbrado gold operation in Burkina Faso, boosted by a seven per cent increase of underground mined ounces from the prior quarter.

Overall, it sold 48,388oz at an average of $US2832/oz.

In its final quarter of 2024, West African yielded 51,178oz and finished with 206,622oz for the 2024 calendar year – meeting its full-year annual guidance target of 190,000-210,000oz.

West African last traded at $2.08.

More to come.
