President Bola Tinubu has said at his administration will launch a bold new initiative that will empower 400,000 Nigerians in July. Tinubu revealed this at his June 12 address at the National Assembly on Thursday.
“We must learn to produce what we eat,” he said. He further said his administration is providing tractors to boost agriculture and is boosting jobs in urban areas while driving food security in rural areas.
He explained that his administration has introduced tax reforms and is raising the nation’s foreign reserves while putting measures in place to reduce food inflation. He noted that his administation is determined to boost Nigeria’s poductive base and ensure transparency. “Digital tools now help us reduce waste and boost performance.”
He noted that the Bank of Industry (BOI) will play a significant role in transforming the nation’s industrial base and reduceing corruption.
