Talking about the disturbing incident that took place in Mumbai, Surveen revealed about a director who despite knowing that she is newly married tried to kiss her, when she visited his office on Veera Desai Road.

Surveen said, “We had just spoken about my marriage inside his cabin — he even asked how my husband was doing. But as I was leaving, he leaned in to kiss me at the door. I had to push him away and just walked off, stunned.”

Surveen’s unfortunate incidents

Unfortunately, this was not the only incident that Surveen had to go through. She also revealed about one of her incidents from the South film industry where a director who didn’t speak Hindi or English, used a friend to communicate his disturbing demand to sleep with him during the shoot, leaving the actress in shock.

Earlier, in an interview with RJ SIddharth Kannan, Surveen opened up about an incident where she was body shamed during an audition and highlighted how women are often subjected to scrutiny that makes them question their self worth.
