The Edmonton Oilers looked dead in the (frozen) water when they headed to the locker room down 3-0 at the end of the first period in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Following a 6-1 loss to Florida in Game 3, the Oilers got blitzed by the Panthers to start Game 4. Then Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl assisted on a power play goal from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for the first of four-straight goals by Edmonton.
After the teams split the third 1-1, it was the NHL’s 2024-25 leading goal scorer Draisaitl who scored in overtime to snag the Game 4 victory and tie the series at two.
