Callum Hickman, of Princes Court, Southampton, appeared for sentencing at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Friday, July 4.
The 26-year-old was jailed for 14 months today after pleading guilty to dangerous driving on Medina Way in Newport on the Isle of Wight on August 4 last year.

Hickman was involved in a “terrifying” high-speed police chase between Whippingham and Newport on the Island.
CCTV footage released by police shows Hickman driving a red Citroen C3, which he had bought earlier that day, racing up the wrong way on the dual-carriageway, going onto the grass to avoid oncoming traffic.
In another new video clip, taken from a member of the public’s dashcam, Hickman can be seen on the wrong side of the road, cutting Racecourse Roundabout at the top of Fairlee Road.
