The first round of the 2025 U.S. Open is barely wrapped up, but there’s a good chance we won’t see a moment for the rest of this weekend that tops what Patrick Reed was able to accomplish at the fourth hole.
Fittingly, Reed is an American golfer playing at the U.S. Open, and he hit a perfect shot on his second attempt from the fairway on the fourth hole. The result was a 286-yard heat-seeking missile that went straight into the cup for a “double eagle.”
