The Minnesota Timberwolves made sure to lock up Naz Reid ahead of the NBA free agency period.
The Timberwolves center has reportedly agreed to a five-year deal worth $125 million. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the deal includes a player option on the final year. Reid had a $15 million player option for the 2025-26 season, which he is declining to sign the new terms.
The agreement was made just days before June 30, which is when teams can begin negotiating contracts with all free agents.
