Kayode Akinlade, a renowned physician and hospital administrator, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 11th Annual Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Awards (NHEA), held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Akinlade, the managing director of Krown Hospital, was celebrated for his remarkable career marked by decades of commitment to quality healthcare delivery, innovation, and leadership in Nigeria’s health sector.
From pioneering patient-centred approaches to expanding access to critical care services, Akinlade’s contributions have left a lasting imprint on healthcare practice and policy. His leadership at Krown Hospital has transformed the institution into a model for clinical excellence and compassionate care, the organisers of the award noted.
