Hampshire office declared Workplace Design of the Year

Date:

Gen II Fund Services’ Southampton site scooped the title at the 2025 South Coast Property Awards.

The company worked with Spectrum Workplace to create the 13,400 sq ft office in Whiteley, focusing on inclusivity, well-being, and future growth.

Matt Luongo, chief administration officer at Gen II, said: “Our goal was a modern, welcoming office that’s distinctly Gen II—and Spectrum delivered.

“It’s more than just an office; it’s a place that brings our teams together and supports how we work today.”

The design incorporated staff input to ensure it met real needs.

Claire Rankine, Southampton office manager, said: “From wellness rooms and communal areas to accessible features like automatic doors and lower sinks, we’ve shaped a space that truly works for everyone.”

Administrator and wheelchair user Esther Greene added: “Accessibility was built into the design from the start, which makes a huge difference to my daily work life.”
