Bvndle appoints Ikechukwu Nwaguru as Acting MD to accelerate innovation and market expansion

Date:

Bvndle, the lifestyle and loyalty platform, has announced the appointment of Ikechukwu Nwaguru as its Acting Managing Director. The company says the move is aimed at driving innovation, expanding its user base, and strengthening its merchant partnerships.

Ikechukwu steps into the role with more than seven years of experience across financial services, technology, and creative industries. Before this appointment, he served as Bvndle’s Head of Product, Innovations and Marketing, where he led the development and launch of Bvndle’s iOS, Android, and web applications.

“This appointment is an exciting evolution of the work we’ve been doing at Bvndle,” said Ikechukwu Nwaguru. “We’re building a future where loyalty is not transactional but deeply experiential, and I’m committed to scaling systems that unlock that future for users, merchants, and partners across the ecosystem.”

His background includes key roles at VFD Group Plc, where he helped define the group’s digital investment strategy and launched features like Target Savings and Bvndle Games. At Artsplit, he was Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications and led the company’s market entry into Ghana and South Africa, resulting in 400% user growth. At Anchoria Investment & Securities, he developed a brand strategy that increased Gen Z engagement and improved digital interaction by 60%.

Commenting on the appointment, Ized Uanikhehi, Bvndle’s Head of Marketing, said, “Ikechukwu’s vision, executional discipline, and ability to merge product with storytelling is a key sign that Bvndle is building in the right direction. He understands how to scale trust, loyalty, and innovation simultaneously, the core pillars of our brand.”

Ikechukwu is also a Venture Fellow at Dream VC, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM), and is currently studying for an MBA at Nexford University.

In his new role, he will lead efforts to grow Bvndle’s reward infrastructure, introduce new merchant categories, and integrate more digital and offline reward options. These efforts will take centre stage at the upcoming Bvndle Rewards Festival on November 25, 2025, in Lagos. The festival will bring customers, creators, and brands together to showcase the platform’s direction and highlight its community-based approach to loyalty.
