Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to the beauty spot at 5.50pm on Wednesday (July 23).
The body is believed to be that of a 63-year-old man from Bournemouth.
He was brought ashore via Yarmouth Pier, police confirmed.
The man’s next of kin has been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner has been notified.
