Arsecast Extra Episode 681 – 16.02.2026

Date:

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we look back at the 4-0 win over Wigan in the FA Cup 4th round on Sunday. It looked like we were going to see Myles Lewis-Skelly in midfield, but a late rejig saw Bukayo Saka play there instead. There’s a lot of discussion of him in that position, and whether it’s something we might, or indeed should, see more of between now and the end of the season. We discuss the flurry of goals we scored in the first half, the contribution of Eberechi Eze with two assists, a firing forward line, and the way the rest of the game played out with some interesting young cameos in the second half. There are also listener questions about Cristhian Mosquera, Ethan Nwaneri’s unsettled situation in Marseille, Ben White and Christian Norgaard, injuries in the warm-ups, and lots more.
