All-Star voting shows impact Clark has had on WNBA

Date:

Caitlin Clark has quickly become one of the most popular players in WNBA history, and the league’s latest All-Star voting is yet another reminder of the impact she has had since she was drafted out of Iowa last year.

The WNBA announced on Sunday that Clark and Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier have been named the two captains for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, as they finished first and second, respectively, in voting. Clark received 1,293,526 votes and Collier got 1,176,020.

Dan Zaksheske of Outkick compared those numbers with the WNBA All-Star voting results from two years ago, before Clark was drafted first overall by the Indiana Fever. What the results show is that Collier received more votes this year than the top 30 players got combined in 2023.
