WWE WrestleMania 41 Day 1 Results, Highlights And Reactions

Date:

WrestleMania 41 kicks off from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The Night 1 card is stacked and it will be headlined by an epic Triple Threat match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins. Below, follow along to see the latest results from the first night of the WrestleMania 41 matches.

I’ll list the card in order of the matches and happenings as they take place with the winners, highlights and reactions from the WWE Universe and more. We’ll keep it in chronological order. At the end, we will cycle the main event results to the top.

WrestleMania 41 Night One Results and Celebrity Sightings As They Happen

Yes, that’s the correct image.

The UFC CEO Dana White and WWE’s business buddy under the TKO umbrella handled the WrestleMania 41 foreword. That was a mild surprise.

Jelly Roll handled the singing of God Bless America to open the festivities.

Triple H was introduced for the first time at a live event as a Hall of Famer having been inducted on Friday. Predictably, he received a rousing reception from fans.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso

The world heavyweight title match opens the show, but record producer Salvatore had a brief appearance to usher in Uso’s arrival. Jey’s entrance was supersized on a WrestleMania level.

He entered through the massive crowd. Uso was far more subdued than normal despite Las Vegas Raiders cheerleaders being on the scene and other massive levels of pageantry.

Appropriately, Gunther entered with little pomp and circumstance befitting his no-nonsense style.

There was also an acknowledgment of combat sports powerbroker Turki Alalshikh.

  • Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano
  • Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
  • World Tag Team Championship Match: The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (c) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)
  • United States Championship Match: LA Knight (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
  • WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
  • Triple Threat Main Event: Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins

Now, if you’re already looking ahead to tomorrow, here’s what’s set for Night 2.

WrestleMania 41 Night Two Card (7 p.m. ET on April 20 on Peacock)

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
  • WWE Women’s World Championship Triple Threat: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair
  • Women’s Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
  • Intercontinental Championship Fatal Four-Way: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta vs. Finn Bálor
  • Sin City Street Fight: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre
  • AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
  • Randy Orton vs. ???

Yes, that last one is still a mystery.

Orton laid down an open challenge on SmackDown, and nobody knows for sure who’s stepping up. Could be an NXT call-up. Could be a returning star. Could be chaos. It’s WrestleMania—expect the unexpected.
