Winn Road, which connects the busy Avenue to Brookvale Road, is set to be partially closed between 8am and 4pm on August 26.
A signed diversion route will be put in place as the road will be forced to close between the junction of Brookvale Road and Compass Court.
The council has warned drivers not to park where there are ‘no-waiting’ cones, as these areas are being reserved for work to begin.

A spokesperson from the council said in a letter sent to residents: “We may need to remove vehicles which block access to our works.”
In the event of bad weather, the works may be postponed.
The council has also advised people who may have changes to their access needs or are expecting any large deliveries to speak to the team once they arrive on site to ensure they can be accommodated.
Properties close to the works area may experience temporary disturbances such as flashing lights and reversing sirens.
The council has apologised for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause.
