Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane’s trophy cabinet is no longer empty.
On Sunday, Bayern Munich clinched its 33rd Bundesliga title after second-place Bayer Leverkusen had a 2-2 draw in its road match against Freiburg. With two games remaining in the German league’s 2024-25 season, there’s no way Bayer Leverkusen (19-11-2, 68 points) can catch Bayern Munich (23-7-2, 76 points).
Bayern Munich could’ve clinched Kane’s first title on Saturday, but it had a 3-3 draw in its road match vs. RB Leipzig. The 31-year-old Briton didn’t play in the game because he was suspended for receiving his fifth yellow card last week.
Kane seems thrilled. In a clip on his X account, he posted himself singing Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”
