Victoria Nkemdilim Ogbuehi (PhD) is Senior Risk & Resilience Manager, at Coca-Cola HBC. Since 2007, she has played important roles in safeguarding both public and private sector organisations. Her career began in law enforcement, where she was committed to upholding the law and ensuring public peace, safety, and security. With over 18 years of comprehensive experience spanning both government and corporate sectors, Victoria developed a nuanced understanding of protecting people, infrastructure, information, and corporate reputation.
Her expertise in security management is backed by specialised training in security operations, intelligence gathering and investigations, incident and crisis management, enterprise risk management, business continuity management, counterterrorism, and data analytics.
She has successfully managed several security technology projects across the Nigeria Business Unit, overseeing end-to-end execution and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and operational integration.
Furthermore, she has continued to lead the management and award of all security-related contracts in coordination with the procurement and project teams. Additionally, Victoria has been responsible for the Nigeria BU Risk Register and Business Continuity Management – developing, maintaining, and testing plans to ensure operational resilience.
Recognised as one of the most accomplished security managers of African origin, Victoria has significantly contributed to the security industry through publications, thought leadership, volunteering, and professional engagements.

• Achieved full risk maturity for the business unit within her first year as Senior Risk & Resilience Manager.
• Honoured with the prestigious ‘Legacy Individual Award’—the first for anyone in the role—during her second year in the position.
• Spearheaded the implementation of security technology initiatives across all Coca-Cola HBC Nigeria manufacturing sites and the Head Office over a three-year period, managing CAPEX projects worth over €10 million.
• Proactively identified emerging risks in collaboration with risk owners, saving the business thousands of euros through strategic mitigation measures.
• Fostered close collaboration with law enforcement, government stakeholders, and partners to support uninterrupted business operations and ensure timely security responses across her areas of responsibility.
• Championed the integration of security into business processes, including the design and rollout of a staff security awareness training programme that achieved a 90% completion rate across East/Central Nigeria.
