Over the past couple of seasons, Tottenham Hotspur has scoured the globe for the best young talent available. Last summer, the North London club signed just one player over 19, and it has now turned its attention to New England Revolution wunderkind Peyton Miller.
According to a report from Fox Sports’ Doug McIntyre, the 17-year-old has garnered the attention of several Premier League clubs, although Tottenham is pushing hardest to take him across the pond.
It’s a move that would come quickly for Miller. A natural left-back, he has also played as a left wing-back and a left midfielder under Caleb Porter this season. For those who are looking for comparisons, he’s a lot like Fulham’s Antonee Robinson.
Miller broke into the first team last season but has only recently established himself as a consistent starter for the Revolution, making 11 MLS appearances this season. He scored his first goal in a 3-0 win over Montreal on May 31.
