Sonalika Joshi aka Mrs Madhavi Bhide of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently made this big revelation. As per a report in Times of India, Sonalika Joshi shared that she wanted to venture into fashion designing and it was her dream.

The actress shared that she had quit the industry to follow her dream. She studied fashion designing for two years, however, she realised that she would require a lot of investment in order to move forward in the field.

‘But while doing the course, I felt that the profession had a lot of investment and during those days, my father wasn’t earning very well. So then I felt that when I was already earning with acting and here I would have to pay to pursue then I should go back to acting,’ Sonalika said.

The actress also mentioned that she was receiving a lot of offers even when she was on break whilst pursuing fashion designing. So eventually, she returned to the screen.

Soalika Joshi added that her father never objected to her choice of entering the acting industry. In fact, he made major sacrifices so that his children could succeed in their careers.

Sonalika Joshi left lavish life

The actress recalled how they lived a lavish life in Jalgaon. The lived in a bungalow and even had a car. However, they left it all behind and moved to Mumbai so that she could achieve success. ‘Baba didn’t know anything about the city, but for our dreams, he accepted the new city and pushed us to perceive our chance into the field of acting,’ she said.
