The actor we are talking about is none other than Shatrughan Sinha who was not in talking terms with actress Rekha. The conflict between the two actors happened on a film set and they lost touch for over 20 years.

The incident took place in 1988 on the set of Khoon Bhari Maang directed by Rakesh Roshan. Both Rekha and Shatrughan Sinha got into a heated argument during the shoot which halted the filming and created chaos on set.

The reason for the fight is still unknown but as per reports, it is believed that Shatrughan Sinha opened up about his rift with Amitabh Bachchan while talking to Rekha which reportedly led to a major clash between them.

20 years gap

The argument led to a major fight between them and after that Shatrughan and Rekha did not speak to each other for over 20 years. The filmmaker Rakesh Roshan was worried that the fight might affect the film but despite the conflict, the film turned out to be successful.

After Khoon Bhari Maang, the two actors Rekha and Shatrughan never worked together. Despite belonging to the same film industry and attending events and Bollywood parties, they never talked to each other.

Poonam Sinha

Interestingly, it was Shatrughan SInha’s wife Poonam Sinha who sorted out their long-standing cold war. At a party, Poonam who shared a good friendship with Rekha saw an opportunity to lead the way and clear things between Rekha and Shatrughan.
