Actor Vishnu Manchu is busy with his film Kannappa, which is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. As per reports, the film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 200 crores.

In the film, Vishnu Manchu revealed that Prabhas and Mohanlal did cameo roles for Kannappa for free and did not charge any money. In an interview with SCREEN, Vishnu said, “Two people helped me greatly to make the film what it is today: Mohanlal and Prabhas. Mohanlal is such great superstar, he didn’t really have to do a small role in my film, but due to his love and respect for my father, he agreed to do the role in less than a minute.

Prabhas

The actor continued, “Secondly, Prabhas. He is a great friend of mine. He is not just one of the biggest stars in India but in Asia. He too didn’t have to do this role. But after I confessed to him that I would need his presence for a greater reach of my film, he agreed immediately. He didn’t even care to listen to his role in the film.

Vishnu shared

Vishnu shared that Prabhas even threatened to kill him for offering money for his role in the film and added, “Both Prabhas and Mohanlal didn’t take a single penny to do the role. Every time I ask them to quote their fees, they would yell at me.”
