The White Horse, on Ringwood Road in Netley Marsh announced they would be closing for the night following the heavy rain and flooding.
A spokesperson for the pub said: “Unfortunately, we will be shutting tonight due to the fact our customers will need to swim to the front door.
“We apologise for the inconvenience.”
Earlier in the day the pub posted a video on social media showing its outdoor seating had flooded with the caption: “Get a pub they said… It will be fun they said.”
This comes after several flood warnings and alerts across the county following heavy rain today.
