On the road and down 3-1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Minnesota Timberwolves are on the verge of a Western Conference Finals defeat in a second consecutive season. Outside of the obvious need for big-time contributions from players like Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle, they’ll likely need a third party to make an impact as well. That player could be Donte DiVincenzo, who came over with Randle in the offseason Karl-Anthony Towns trade. While DiVincenzo hasn’t started a game this postseason, he is coming off of his best game of the WCF in the 128-126 loss with 21 points on 5-of-8 shooting from deep.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. While DiVincenzo isn’t necessarily a household name, he does have the combination of shooting ability and playoff experience that is invaluable in do-or-die situations.
