Guard Fred VanVleet and the Rockets are agreeing to a new two-year contract worth $50 million with a player option for the second year. The 31 year old veteran guard out of Wichita State is heading into his 10th season in the association and averaged 14.1 points and 5.6 assists-per-game for a Rockets team that finished second in the Western Conference in 2024-25.
