The Lionesses are going head-to-head with Spain in what has been a turbulent tournament for the England team.
Southampton residents are watching the exciting match inside watering holes across the city.
Speaking before the match, Jo said: “We’re nervous. I’d say we’re hopeful but not optimistic.
“Spain is a very good team and it’s a replay of the World Cup Final that England lost.
“We’ll be cheering them on though and wish them all the best. If the scores are level with 20 minutes to go, it would be amazing to see us go on and win from there.”
David added: “We’re nervous and think it will be a close game but we’re optimistic England will come through and win the match.”

Friends Dan Barker and Nathan Gibson feel optimistic about the outcome for England.
Dan said: “The previous games have been really close.
“We were a bit lucky against Italy with the missed penalty and scoring the rebound.
“You look at the Sweden game and all the missed penalties but we managed to come through that.
“We’re optimistic about tonight, up the Lionesses.”
Nathan described it as an “interesting game” as “it is a repeat of the World Cup final.”
He added: “We’ve conceded first in a few games this tournament, I think if we can avoid that we’ll be fine and get revenge over Spain.
“We can be two-time European Championship and they can be the World Cup Winners.
“They are both good teams, it should be an exciting game.”
Shirley Crawford and Lisa Barton also watched the match.
Speaking a few minutes before kick-off, Lisa said: “There’s some pre-game nerves but we’re optimistic we can beat Spain after they won the World Cup final.
“We’re certainly hoping for the best.”
