On Monday, December 22 at about midnight, emergency services were called to a vehicle fire at the Tesla showroom on Easton Lane, Winchester.
Crews from Winchester, Eastleigh, Basingstoke and St Mary’s were called to the incident where the vehicle was said to be well alight by the time the services arrived.
A crew from Hightown were called to take over from the firefighters who were first on the scene.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: “Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reel jets to stop the fire, which caused approximately 75 per cent damage to the vehicle.
“Thermal imaging cameras were used to monitor the temperature of the batteries, with water used to cool them down. Police were informed as it was believed the fire was set deliberately.”
A spokesperson from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service said: “The vehicle was completely destroyed, and crews remained on scene throughout the day to monitor and cool the area before returning to their stations.”
HIWFRS left the scene at around 7.30pm on Monday, December 22.
