I am running the Boston Marathon to honor how far I’ve come — and to give back to a cause that helped people like me get here.

In December 2020, I was run over by a car. The trauma left me with serious injuries, and I wasn’t sure if I’d ever fully recover — let alone run again. But when I was cleared to move, I ran. Slowly at first. Then farther. Then stronger. Running became a symbol of healing, hope, and the fire I found inside myself during recovery.

Now, in 2025, I’m running Boston not just for myself, but for others who are still fighting. I’m running in memory of my aunt Sherry, who passed down her love of running to me. And I’m running to support Stepping Strong, a foundation transforming trauma care through research, innovation, and healing.

Boston is more than a race. For me, it’s a full-circle moment — proof that even after being broken, we can rebuild. We can run toward something bigger than ourselves.

Thank you for believing in this journey. Every mile, every donation, and every message of support means the world.
