The rapper and music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, criminal trials are set to begin on Monday, as federal prosecutors accuse him of using his fame and fortune to abuse women over the span of two decades.
Trail
On the other hand, the defendant is expected to argue that the allegations are wrong and the misrepresented relationships were consensual and part of the swinger lifestyle.
Prison time
The 55-year-old rapper is facing five serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. If convicted, he could spend at least 15 years to life in prison.
Trial day
On Monday, a jury of 12 jurors and six alternates will lay out their cases from both sides, paving the way for opening statements by the government and then the defence. The prosecution would then call its first witness.
Trial time
The trial is expected to last two months, and the jurors will hear from multiple women who claim they were the victims of abuse, as well as his former employee who helped arrange and cover up his actions.

Reports from the prosecutors include concealing a series of disturbing incidents, which reportedly included drug-fueled gatherings involving coerced sexual acts. However, Combs is accused of arranging what he allegedly called “Freak Offs, where women were forced to engage in sexual performances with male sex workers.
Cassie Ventura
A report from 2016 revealed that Combs assaulted a woman who attempted to leave such a gathering. In the same year, Combs physically attacked his former partner, singer Cassie Ventura, in a Los Angeles hotel for the same reason, as per CNN.
Diddy’s team
The legal team of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is focusing on challenging the credibility of the women testifying against him. The legal team may try to testify on financial motives and inaccurate memories.
