Hampshire police previously issued an appeal to find a man who has believed to be in the Romsey area.
This sparked a manhunt for the wanted man, as a spokesperson for the force warned residents not to approach him, and to “call 999 immediately” if they had any information on his whereabouts.
An update issued by Hampshire officers confirmed that a 37-year-old man has now been arrested as part of this investigation.
