In the summer of 2021, Regal Princess began homeporting in Southampton, replacing the Grand Princess for European operations at Princess Cruises.
Since that redeployment, the vessel has continuously been doing European cruises out of Southampton in the following summer seasons making it one of the most frequent cruise ships in the city.

To the disappointment of many city residents, October will mark the last time that Regal Princess is seen on the Hampshire coast.
The ship is set to be redeployed in Galveston, Texas, in the winter and will then spend the 2026 and 2027 summer season in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Princess Regal can carry around 4200 passengers making it one of the biggest ships to sail in the UK.
