Movies like Kesari Veer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, Kapkapii, Pune Highway, Tomchi, Love Karu Ya Shaadi, and Agar magar Kintu Parantu are releasing on May 23. However, the most talked about films today are Bhool Chuk Maaf and Kesari Veer.
Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi are the lead stars of Bhool Chuk Maaf. There was a lot controversy around the movie’s release. But finally, it is releasing today. Earlier, the film was scheduled for release on May 9 and later postponed tp May 16. However, later shifted directly to Prime Video due to heightened security tensions between India and Pakistan.
But, this got the film a lot of negativity. But despite, this, it seems there will not be any issues in terms of box office performance. The film will earn around Rs 5 crore across India, having already sold over 30,000 tickets in top national cinema chains.
Talking about Kesari Veer, the film is a comeback film of Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj Pancholi. He is returning to the screens after a long time. The movie also features Akanksha Sharma, Vivek Oberoi, and Suniel Shetty. The trailer of the film got an amazing response from the audience.
Film business expert Rohit Jaiswal spoke to Filmibeat and said that film is clashing with Bhool Chuk Maaf hence might have a low start. It will be earning Rs 80 lakhs to 1 crores today. With this, the movie will become Sooraj Pancholi’s second highest opener after Hero which earned Rs 6.85 crores.
Well, both the films will give a tough fight to each other. Given Kesari Veer‘s positive reviews from the audience, Rajkummar’s film might face failure in the upcoming weeks.
