President Tinubu arrives Nasarawa for official working visit


President Bola Tinubu is presently in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa on a one day working visit, to commission some key major projects executed by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The president arrived Lafia aboard the Nigeria Air Force plane, a round 1:57pm, at the Usman Danfodio Cargo Airport in Lafia.

On arrival at the airport, the president was received by Governor Abdullahi Sule and other governors of Kaduna, Borno, Kwara, Imo and Ogun States.

Other dignitaries who welcomed the President includes former governors of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Adamu, and Umaru Tanko Al-makura, the state Deputy Governor, Emmanuel Akabe, Ministers, top security chiefs, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and other critical stake-holders of the state.

During the one-day working visit, the president would commission, state of art secretariat constructed, under-pass and flyover bridge built by the state governor.

Other projects to be commission are 4.5km km Shendam dualized road, distribution of tractors, security vehicles, compress natural gas-CNG and electric vehicles as well as youths and women empowerment programme to two hundreds beneficiaries across the state.
