A new free iPhone game called “Pokemon Friends” brings yet another daily puzzle game to iPhone with plush collecting charm.
Available now on the App Store, Pokemon Friends joins the growing wave of daily puzzle games that encourage regular play. Players solve light logic puzzles to earn virtual yarn, which can be spun into plush versions of classic Pokemon and placed in personalized rooms.
It’s equal parts mental workout and digital craft time. According to the App Store description, the game features more than 1,200 puzzles ranging from quick challenges to more difficult tasks.
Each puzzle rewards yarn, which players use to craft stuffed Pokemon toys. These plushies can be displayed in customizable rooms with swappable furniture, wallpaper, and decorations.
The game’s fictional setting, Think Town, adds a light narrative layer. Players help its plush-loving citizens by solving puzzles and building a growing collection of handcrafted Pokemon friends.
There’s also a daily calendar mechanic for logging completed puzzles, helping gamify streaks so players are motivated to return.
Free to play with family-friendly design
Pokemon Friends supports up to five save files, allowing multiple family members to play on the same device. While the app is free to download, it includes optional in-app purchases — likely for cosmetic upgrades or puzzle packs.

The launch fits into a broader trend of cozy, accessible mobile games with daily hooks. It also adds to the expanding list of officially licensed Pokemon titles on iOS, which now range from battling apps like Pokemon Unite to more laid-back options like Pokemon Sleep and now Pokemon Friends.
It also joins Apple’s growing portfolio of daily games available in Apple News+. There is a selection of daily crosswords, sudoku, and now an emoji game.
You can find the game on the App Store now.
