Caris LeVert played for the Michigan Wolverines from 2012-16. He was an All-Big Ten player who averaged 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in his senior season for the Wolverines. He was selected No. 20 in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers but his rights were later traded to the Brooklyn Nets.
He’s played on four teams in his NBA career and has been a solid role player. And now, the Detroit Pistons are bringing him back “home” to Michigan.
It’s being reported by Shams Charania that the Pistons and LeVert have agreed on a two-year, $29M deal in free agency.
