South superstar Pawan Kalyan has always remained in news due to his personal life. The actor-turned-politician has married thrice. In a recent interview, his ex-wife Renu Desai shared how life changed for her post their separation. Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan parted ways in the year 2011. They have two children – Akira Nandan and Aadhya. In a recent interview, Renu Desai revealed that Pawan Kalyan is a ‘caring’ father and that both their kids share a special bond with him.
Post separation from Renu Desai, Pawan Kalyan again got married to Anna Lezhneva. He moved on, however, Renu Desai never remarried. In a podcast with Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, the actress revealed the reason behind it. She shared that she wished that she had a partner, however, her obligation toward her children prevented her from doing so. She was quoted saying, “Of course, I wish I had a partner. However, my sense of obligation to my children prevents me from doing so. If I look at it individually, I think I should have a lover, a marriage, and a life. But when I consider it from the children’s perspective…”.
Renu Desai also explained that in 2018, she did try to move on and got engaged. However, it did not work out for her. She said that she realised that she couldn’t do honour to either ‘the relationship or the kids’. But she is open to the idea of having a partner in her life. Renu Desai shared that she is waiting for her daughter to grow up. “I’m waiting for Aadhya to grow up; she’s 15 now, maybe when she’s 18 and off to college,” she said hinting that she isn’t averse to the idea.
The Badri actress was also asked about son Akira accompanying father Pawan Kalyan during his temple visits. To this, she said that she never stopped her children from being with Pawan Kalyan as he is a ‘good father’ and treats his children with ‘love and care’.
