The news has come as shock waves for Babu Rao aka Paresh Rawal’s fans who were eagerly awaiting to see him in this iconic role from Hera Pheri, since the director of the film, Priyadarshan, had confirmed in January 2025, that the third part of the adventure comedy has started.

However, amid the good news of the third part, sad news aired relating to the cast of the film. While in a candid interview with Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal, who played the iconic Babu Rao’s character himself, has confirmed that he won’t be a part of the third installment of Hera Pheri.

Paresh Rawal was put forward the question of his exit from Hera Pheri, to which the actor replied with, “Yes, it’s a fact.” The news was also confirmed by the film critic Sumit Kadel, who gave information about Paresh’s back out due to creative differences through his social media account.

Bollywood Hungama has further quoted an industry insider, There was a time when Akshay Kumar was out of the film, in 2022. Even though he’s the soul of the series, his exit led to disappointment.
