Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is once again going to witness a major change. It was not so long ago that the makers introduced a leap and brought new characters. Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj who played the leads marked their exit from the show. Actors like Param Singh, Sanam Johar and Vaibhavi Hankare joined the show as makers introduced new storyline with new characters. However, amid the buzz around dropping TRPs of the show, makers have brought back Bhavika Sharma as Savi. Vaibhavi Hankare is exiting the show and the story will take a new twist.
In a recent interview with entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Param Singh spoke about the audiences reaction, upcoming storyline and more. The actor was asked about audiences having difficulty in accepting new characters and storyline post leap. The show did receive a lot of backlash initially with Param, Sanam and Vaibhavi’s entry. To this, the actor said that it could be due to combination of factors as to why the audience had difficulty accepting new faces. He said that it takes time for a character to build connection with the audience. He explained that audiences build strong connections with the existing characters and find difficult to embrace new direction. He said, “While I was drawn to the character and enjoyed portraying him, I respect that viewers have their own preferences and perspectives on what resonates with them as a story or character.”
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife, Param Singh spoke about Bhavika Sharma’s re-entry in the show and how his character Neil will change post Teju’s death. He said that Neil will harden up due to harsh circumstances and go into a shell. How will Bhavika’s character Savi help him progress in love? We will have to wait and watch.
