The Pac-12 is trying to resurrect itself from the brink of extinction.
One known as the “Conference of Champions” and the longest-running and most historic of all the Power Five conferences, the Pac-12 was decimated by the act of aggressive expansion by the Big Ten, SEC and then, ultimately, the Big 12.
All that was left from the great exodus before the 2024 season was Washington State and Oregon State, but the conference is doing what it can to build back.
As such, the Pac-12 is announcing its newest member: Texas State
