Those living in Sirocco have until Monday to pack up and leave their homes, a shocking letter has revealed.
People living in nearby Mistral have also been told to leave, the Echo understands.
It comes only months after residents living in Sundowner Court on Channel Way were ordered to immediately evacuate due to “substantial” fire risks.
These risks have now been identified in Mistral and Sirocco according to Barratt Redrow.
In a letter delivered to Sirocco residents today, the company revealed the findings of independent expert fire engineer, Joule Group.
“Unfortunately, Joule Group has confirmed that the same issues identified at Sundowner are also present in Sirocco, which means there is an increased potential risk associated with any fire, and as such, these will need to be remediated as quickly as possible”, it reads.

Barratt Redrow added: “We must ask that you be ready to vacate your property in Sirocco from Monday, June 16. All residents need to have moved out of their homes by Sunday, June 22.
“Please be assured that Barratt Redrow is committed to supporting residents throughout this process. Barratt Redrow is working with a specialist relocation provider, ICAB, to provide all residents with suitable alternative accommodation for the duration of time that you are unable to be in your property at Admiral’s Quay.”
The evacuation is a “precautionary measure” while these issues are investigated and “fully remediated.”
The plan is to remove affected residents into serviced accommodation as soon as possible, but hotel rooms may need to be booked in the meantime.
An allowance of £50 per person per night will be provided for food to ensure residents are not out of pocket.
