The NTT Global Destination and the Embassy of Brazil in Nigeria are set to host a special cultural diplomacy evening tagged “Around the World in a Bottle – One Sip at a Time”.
The event, which will hold on June 26, 2025, at the Ballroom Abuja, is hosted to welcome delegates from Africa and other parts of the world to Abuja for the Afreximbank‘s Annual General Meeting (AGM), the AU MSME Summit, and key bilateral business dialogues. The event is coming as part of the activities to unwind in a week described as a key business week in Abuja.
According to the organisers, the June 26th 6 to 8 pm event, will be an evening of cultural storytelling through global beverages, and taking the guests across six continents.
“The week’s discussions in Abuja are shaping Africa’s economic future. This event adds a cultural dimension to those efforts reminding us of the role that shared heritage, hospitality, and storytelling play in building stronger ties,” Elizabeth Agboola, CEO, NTT Global Destination, said.
Following the Abuja showcase, NTT Global Destination will also co-host a side event during the 49th CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on July 8, 2025, in partnership with Afreximbank and Jamaican National Bank.
The programme, which will hold under NTT Global Destination’s Motherland Reconnect platform will also highlight African and Caribbean synergies across trade, tourism, and the creative economy.
NTT’s involvement in both locations reflects the growing role of private sector actors in complementing diplomatic and regional efforts through cultural initiatives that open doors for deeper collaboration.
