New Forest police seize stolen and untaxed vehicles

Date:

The neighbourhood policing team revealed that it had been interviewing suspects and preparing files for prosecution.

This comes as they seized several uninsured, untaxed, and stolen vehicles with the help of New Forest and cross-border colleagues.

The police have also been patrolling the Roundhills area to address street drinking and drug use and will continue to do so over the summer.

The New Forest District Council has been working with the police to tackle anti-social behaviour at certain local addresses.

There has been a focus on class A drug use and supply in the town, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed in a social media post.

Complaints from residents about young people dangerously riding e-scooters have also been addressed, with several seized.

The police have thanked the community for providing “valuable intelligence” on criminal activity and encouraged residents to continue reporting information anonymously through the Crimestoppers hotline.
