Nasara Foundation marks third anniversary, announces launch of ‘The Nasara Chronicle’ journal

The Nasara Women Development Foundation (Nasara Foundation) will celebrate its third anniversary on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Kebbi State. The event will also feature the launch of the foundation’s new official journal, ‘The Nasara Chronicle.’

Founded in 2022, Nasara Foundation has dedicated its efforts to community development, empowerment initiatives, and supporting youth, women, and girls. This three-year milestone highlights the foundation’s ongoing commitment to these objectives.

‘The Nasara Chronicle,’ edited by veteran broadcast journalist and PR expert Segun Adebowale, will document the foundation’s activities, impact, and insights. The publication aims to provide regular updates and in-depth perspectives on the foundation’s projects and the issues it addresses. The inaugural issue will be presented during the anniversary celebration at the Federal Polytechnic’s Convocation Arena in Birnin Kebbi.

Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, founder of the foundation and First Lady of Kebbi State, stated:

“Reaching our third anniversary reflects the sustained effort of our team and the invaluable support of our partners and the communities we engage with. The launch of ‘The Nasara Chronicle’ is a deliberate step towards enhancing our communication and accountability. This journal will serve as a formal platform to chronicle our journey, share evidence of our impact, and contribute to the broader discourse on sustainable development and social empowerment.”

Hajiya Bilkisu Muhammad Nasir, CEO of the foundation, added:

“Marking three years provides a moment to reflect on the tangible impact of our initiatives. ‘The Nasara Chronicle’ emerges from this, offering a structured platform to share not only our successes but also the valuable lessons learned through our programs. We believe this transparency is necessary for continuous improvement and deeper engagement with our stakeholders.”

Since its establishment, Nasara Foundation has implemented various programs to improve the lives of girls, women, and youth in Kebbi State, including skill development programs, medical outreach for essential healthcare services, educational support, and empowerment projects promoting personal and financial growth.
