Pint glasses, beer bottles, and chairs were used as weapons following a fight involving rival supporters in Southampton on March 18 2023.
The men due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, July 1, are all accused of violent order.
The defendants are Ewan Pilgrim, 22, of Landseer Road, Southampton, Jamie Lucas, 34, of Bernstein Road, Basingstoke, William Green, 21, of Maplin Road, Southampton, Jack Kelly, of Cracknore Road, Southampton, and Jack Mathieson, 28 of Shepherds Close, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.
In each case, they are accused of using or threatening violence that could cause someone to fear for their personal safety.
If convicted they could face six months in prison or an unlimited fine or both.
In the past few months several men have been jailed after being convicted of taking part in the brawl, which occurred in the Oxford Street area following a match at St Mary’s Stadium.
