Bertucci’s, a Somerville-born Italian restaurant chain, is closing more Massachusetts locations after filing for bankruptcy again.

Restaurants in Braintree, Mansfield, North Andover, Norwood, and Plymouth, as well as a location in Warwick, R.I., have all closed, according to a filing obtained by Boston 25 News. The company officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a Florida court April 24.

Ten Bertucci’s locations in Massachusetts remain open, including Chelmsford, Chestnut Hill, Framingham, Hingham, Medford, Newton, Reading, Waltham, Westborough, and a Pronto location in downtown Boston.

The chain previously filed for bankruptcy in 2022 and closed locations in Beverly, Brockton, Canton, Marlborough, and North Attleboro after experiencing “severe setbacks due to COVID.” Though Bertucci’s also filed for bankruptcy and closed 15 locations in 2018, the company was sold later that year.

The first Bertucci’s restaurant opened in Somerville’s Davis Square neighborhood in 1981, according to the company’s website. With the recent closures, the company now has 15 locations across the country.
