Miele, a German premium home appliance manufacturer, has relaunched its newly renovated experience centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, reinforcing its strategic focus on West Africa’s growing luxury market.
The two-day event, held on April 4 and 5, welcomed key business leaders, architects, designers, and government representatives in a celebration of innovation, sustainability, and design excellence.
Founded in 1899, Miele has grown into a global leader in high-end home solutions, anchored by its motto —Forever Better. Its latest move in Nigeria signals increased investment in a market with rising demand for energy-efficient and premium lifestyle appliances.
The highlight of the inauguration was the Legacy Walk, led by Mouad Benmoussa, Miele’s Export Development Manager for the Middle East and Africa. The curated tour showcased over 125 years of brand evolution and reaffirmed Miele’s global commitment to sustainability, technology, and performance.
“Our presence here is deliberate. Nigeria represents the future of smart, sustainable living in Africa,” Benmoussa said. “This centre allows us to deepen connections with local consumers and partners.”
The event began with a press briefing, introducing Miele’s 12-year journey in Nigeria and outlining its future vision. Attendees were treated to culinary demonstrations by Miele chef partner Chef Dera Anazodo emphasising the practical elegance of Miele’s kitchen appliances.

The second half of the first-day inauguration was an intimate culinary experience featuring renowned Miele Chef partners Chef Tilewa Odedina and Chef Soliat. The event showcased Miele’s strong ties to Nigeria’s culinary scene. Attended by prominent personalities like Sisi Yemmie and Chef Cupid, the elegant evening highlighted Miele’s dedication to excellence, luxury, and culinary excellence.
Day two welcomed trade partners and business stakeholders, including HRH Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Deputy German Consul Gerald Wolf, and industry leaders in real estate and architecture. Chef Rahila Lawore’s live cooking session demonstrated how Miele appliances merge high performance with modern design. Mustapha Olorunnimbe, Managing Director of A Plus Appliances, Miele’s licensed partner in West Africa, described the centre as “a symbol of our promise to deliver excellence to Nigerian homes.”
The renovated Experience Centre serves as more than just a showroom—it’s a business touchpoint designed to deliver hands-on customer engagement, product education, and professional collaborations across the region.
