'Maine kabhi nahi...', Charu Asopa HITS back at trolls as she buys new home

TV actress Charu Asopa is more in news because of her personal life than her professional achievements. In recent times, she hit headlines as she moved back to her hometown from Mumbai along with her daughter. Charu Asopa was married to Rajeev Sen – Sushmita Sen‘s brother. However, their marriage was short-lived. Recently, her videos of selling clothes online as a business venture also went viral. Amid all the discussion around Charu Asopa facing financial struggle, the actress surprised all as she announced that she has now bought a new home.

In the new Vlog, Charu Asopa spoke about facing online trolling after she purchased a new home. The actress shared that people even commented on her travelling by flight and not train. She clarified that she never said that she is poor and that she is managing fine. She confirmed that she has taken a conscious break from TV to explore other things. She said, “Some even made videos of me shopping and said, ‘Yeh toh gareeb hai’. Pehli baat, maine kabhi nahi bola ke main gareeb hu. (First of all, I never said I am poor) By God’s grace, I’m managing fine. I don’t want sympathy.”

Charu Asopa further clarified that she never claimed that she was out of work when she was in Mumbai. However, she explained that daily soaps are time consuming and currently, she cannot leave her daughter Ziana alone for a long time. She never had a problem with making ends meet in Mumbai, she added. The actress has bought a property in her hometown – Bikaner. She mentioned that she has taken a loan to buy the home. Charu Asopa added “The EMI I’m paying now is almost equal to the rent I was paying in Mumbai. Rent increases each year, but EMI remains; that’s the advantage.”

The diva is now looking forward to furnishing her home. She mentioned that she is making a play area for her daughter in her new house. She has bought an AC and is looking forward to buying other white goods but within her means.
