About “Love Island USA”:
Hosted by “Vanderpump Rules” favorite Ariana Madix, “Love Island USA” is a reality dating series, this year set in Fiji. Throughout the show, various singles arrive to get to know their fellow Islanders by way of sharing beds, playing themed games, and spending each day lounging about the villa with no choice but to either tan or talk to each other. The objective is to find love and secure enough fan votes to make it through to the finale, where one couple is awarded the grand prize.

Upon entering “Love house” week, host Ariana Madix broke the news to contestants that they would start fresh — single again and to be coupled up with one of their newfound roommates.
As a refresher, the original couples were Ace and Chelley, Austin and Amaya, Nic and Cierra, and Taylor and Olandria, with Huda, Iris, Pepe, Andreina, and TJ still solo. Following the first Casa recoupling at the home villa, Gracyn was with Pepe, Vanna chose Ace, CoCo was paired with Taylor, Jaden picked Austin, and Clarke joined Nicolas, leaving TJ Palma single and vulnerable. On the ladies’ side, JD and Huda, Elan and Cierra, Zak and Chelley, Zac and Iris, Bryan and Andreina, and Chris and Olandria were the new pairs alongside single Amaya.

Episode 20 revealed what was likely the most divisive elimination so far this season. TJ and Amaya were given 24 hours to find a connection, or risk getting dumped from the island. At the end of the night, the Islanders gathered around their respective fire pits and were asked to stand if they had a stronger connection with Amaya, on the “Casa Amor” side, or TJ, at the original villa. The game only ended when no Islanders chose to rise. The result was fan-favorite Olandria and Nic, one of the first boys to enter the villa, packing their bags and exiting the show.

New episodes of “Love Island USA” season 7 drop all but Wednesday at 9. PM and on Peacock. On Saturday nights, “Aftersun” specials welcome former cast members for a discussion of this season’s latest drama.
